And she stated in a statement that the results of the questionnaire resulted in the department’s classification among the best working environments in the United Arab Emirates out of 20 public and private entities within the category of large institutions, in appreciation of its efforts to provide an ideal work experience in accordance with best practices, so the department became among the list of the best work environments globally. .
According to the statement, “Dubai Customs” is the first customs authority globally approved as a preferred place to work, according to the experts assessed in “Great Place to Work”, when the department received the certificate for the first time in January 2021, based on an assessment of the working environment , including: trust, and innovation, the values of the organization and management, the positive results the department has achieved through communication and internal communication between management team and employees, as well as the employee’s sense of pride in the work he performs.

For his part, the Director General of the Great Place to Work in the Middle East, Ibrahim Al-Mughrabel, said that Dubai Customs is the first customs authority in the world to have been approved as a great place to work when the department embarked on its journey by making changes in the work culture, which was reflected in the experience of its employees in the pursuit of expertise in their work.
He pointed out that some authorities tended to end their journey as soon as they had obtained the accreditation certificate, while Dubai Customs was eager to make a greater effort as soon as it had obtained the accreditation certificate, and continued on its distinguished journey.
