Blooming Back: Dubai Miracle Garden Set to Unveil Season 13

Dubai – The wait is over for flower lovers and families alike, as the enchanting Dubai Miracle Garden (DMG) prepares to open its doors for Season 13 on September 28. Nestled within the vibrant landscapes of Dubailand, this captivating garden first opened its gates in 2013 and has since become a cherished destination for both locals and tourists. Each season, DMG introduces fresh floral displays, visually stunning sculptures, and an array of new features that continue to captivate the imagination.

Dubbed the largest natural flower garden in the world, DMG boasts over 150 million flowers spanning approximately 120 different species annually. The garden is renowned not only for its color and diversity but also for its innovative themes that reflect various cultural and seasonal celebrations, as well as beloved characters from popular media. One of the season’s highlights includes a dazzling display inspired by the charming world of the Smurfs, where visitors can stroll through immersive floral arrangements that pay tribute to these iconic blue characters.

One of the showstoppers at DMG is the magnificent replica of the Emirates A380, a creation that has clinched a Guinness World Record. This impressive aircraft, fashioned from over 500,000 fresh flowers and living plants, stands as a testament to Dubai’s extraordinary creativity and commitment to showcasing nature’s beauty. Other engaging attractions within the garden include the whimsical ‘Umbrella Tunnel’ and the tranquil ‘Lake Park,’ each designed to envelop visitors in the serene splendor of floral artistry.

For this season, the family-friendly DMG will operate every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and extend its hours to 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. during weekends and public holidays. This schedule allows ample time for visitors of all ages to explore, photograph, and appreciate the artistic floral installations and creative presentations that define the garden.

In a bid to encourage more residents to enjoy the floral extravaganza, ticket prices have seen a reduction for UAE residents. Adults and children can now access the garden for just Dh60 (.34) by presenting their Emirates ID, reflecting a Dh5 (.36) decrease from last year’s price of Dh65 (.70). The welcoming news continues for families, as children under three can still enter for free, making it an accessible outing for parents.

On the flip side, ticket prices have seen an uptick for tourists and non-UAE residents, now standing at Dh100 (.23) for adults and Dh85 (.14) for children. This slight increase of Dh5 (.36) aims to balance the growing demand for entry while still ensuring that the signature experience of the garden remains unique. Regardless of residency, the current policy allows free admission for children under three, fostering inclusivity among families visiting Dubai.

The slight price disparity between residents and tourists underscores DMG’s dedication to the local community, as well as its goal of promoting public engagement with nature and the arts. Managing the delicate balance between accessibility and operational costs reflects the garden’s commitment to being a regional haven for creative expression and celebration of flora.

Online bookings for entry to DMG will begin concurrently with its opening on September 28, offering visitors the chance to reserve their spots in advance. As the opening day approaches, excitement builds rapidly, promising another exhilarating season filled with vibrant colors and captivating sights.

With the cooler winter months quickly approaching, Dubai is gearing up to unveil several other outdoor attractions. The Dubai Safari Park and Hatta Wadi Hub are set to welcome guests starting October 1, while the ever-popular Global Village UAE is scheduled to open its doors on October 16. These upcoming events increase the natural tourism appeal of the city, further solidifying Dubai’s position as a top-notch destination for family-friendly outings and on-the-go adventures.

As we welcome a new season filled with beauty, creativity, and joy, the Dubai Miracle Garden stands out as a must-visit attraction. Whether you are a blossoming photographer, a family with little ones in tow, or even a tourist looking to experience the rich cultural tapestry that Dubai has to offer, DMG invites you to step into its floral paradise, where every visit unveils a new story waiting to unfold.
