The airline will also add more premium economy seats to services from London Heathrow Airport and Sydney, as its newly upgraded aircraft will be offered with refreshed cabins.

Emirates recently announced the launch of its fleet retrofit programme, which involves a multi-billion dollar investment to ensure that customers are offered the best in-flight services.


From November, the airline will begin upgrading and refurbishing the interior cabins of 67 Airbus A380s and 53 Boeing 777s, adding one aircraft per calendar day, the company said. .

Under the plan, around 4,000 new premium economy seats will be installed in its passenger planes by 2025, and more than 5,000 business class seats will be upgraded to new styles and designs.

It should be noted that Emirates is the world’s largest operator of A380 passenger aircraft with 118 double-decker aircraft in its fleet.
