The Dubai Border Crossings Security Council is organizing a coordination meeting to ensure the port’s preparedness and provide the best service to the public.
DUBAI, 7 July, WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Border Security Council, instructed the provision of all necessary capacities and facilities to ensure the easy movement of travelers and arrivals into the country through the Hatta the border port during the Eid Al-Adha holiday, and to provide the best service to receive visitors through Dubai shops according to the highest standards of safety and security to ensure convenience for guests and ensure their comfort.
His Highness also instructed to work with all relevant authorities to develop an integrated action plan that ensures the highest level of efficiency in dealing with Dubai and UAE guests coming through the Hatta crossing, and to facilitate entry and exit procedures, in particular during the period of the blessed Eid al-Adha holiday, in line with the importance of the crossing as one of the main land ports, which is an important connecting artery with the sister Sultanate of Oman.
In accordance with the directives of His Highness, the Dubai Border Security Council organized a coordination meeting in the Port of Hatta in the presence of representatives of the relevant authorities, including: Dubai Directorate of Residence and Foreign Affairs, Dubai Customs, Directorate of Command of Dubai Police, General Command of Civil Defense and Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services. The meeting underlined the high readiness of the Hatta border crossing to provide the best and finest services to those coming to the country during Eid al-Adha holidays, facilitate their procedures and ensure the full flow of vehicle movements across the border, as well as ensure cross-border preparedness for all emergencies and all services ensuring the safety and security of all visitors from the Sultanate of Oman sister.
The meeting comes as a confirmation of the approach of the Dubai Border Security Council and its continued efforts to raise the level of coordination with all relevant local and federal authorities to increase integration between them to ensure the highest level of security in ports and to ensure the provision of the best services. to travelers through the border crossings in Dubai in accordance with the expertise that Dubai follows in its various sectors, and to reaffirm its position as the best city to live, work and visit in the world.
