Fujairah, August 29 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, received at Al Rumailah Palace female employees of the Female Higher Colleges of Technology in Fujairah on the occasion of Emirati Women’s Day, which the UAE celebrates on the 28th. August every year.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah emphasized the qualitative leaps that the UAE has taken in terms of empowering and strengthening the position of Emirati women at all levels, and praised the distinguished efforts and continuous achievements of Emirati women in various fields, and set the finest examples in representing values of Emirati society among the countries of the world.
His Highness expressed the Fujairah government’s interest in empowering women in all societal and professional fields in implementing the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, and his eagerness to utilize resources to involve women in the country’s comprehensive development process, and to assume their vital role in nation building.
The female employees of the Higher Colleges of Technology expressed their joy at the reception of His Highness, the Crown Prince of Fujairah, and his support for women in all fields, which constitutes an important incentive to continue their important role in society.
The meeting was attended by Salem Al-Zahmi, director of the Crown Prince’s office, and Dr. Abdullah Al-Suwaiji, CEO of the Higher Colleges of Technology in Fujairah.
