Sharjah, June 11 / WAM / Sharjah Institute for Heritage participates in the Rabat International Book and Publishing Fair, which is currently taking place.

The Institute’s participation includes a rich cultural program that includes intellectual seminars attended by a selection of Moroccan researchers and authors, and signatures and publications of the Institute’s latest publications on Moroccan heritage, in addition to the presence of more than 400 publications and titles within the Institute. flew and the issues of its two magazines, Al Mawrouth and Mawrad, which it issues.

Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Muslim, president of the institute, said: “We are eager to attend various book fairs because of the importance and distinctive value they represent for all lovers of speech, reading and knowledge. We have a package of activities, programs and events confirming the strength of relations with our brothers in Morocco, especially as regards the cultural and hereditary aspects, there is much common work and integration in the work of protecting and preserving the heritage and passing it on to generations in the light of the importance of maintaining cooperation, coordination and joint work with Moroccan institutions.

The pavilion of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage witnessed a series of scientific symposia and numerous signatures of new publications in various fields of cultural heritage by scholars who had their efforts and their role in protecting the heritage, passing it on to future generations and maintaining it … a remarkable attendance from visitors to the exhibition and the public, who expressed their appreciation for the role and status of the institute and its efforts to preserve its heritage, its preservation and protection, and praised its programs and activities and its permanent presence at Arab and international level.

The exhibition, within the general program of the Moroccan Ministry of Culture and within the framework of the Institute’s participation, witnesses four seminars, the first entitled “Strengthening Cultural Relations between the Sharjah Institute for Heritage and Moroccan Cultural Institutions”, the second entitled “The Intangible cultural heritage in Fiji Oasis – Customs as a Model “and the third entitled” Sharjah Institute for Heritage from Locality “To the World” and the fourth, entitled “Sharjah Institute for Heritage’s role in disseminating Arab heritage … Moroccan heritage as model.”
