Sharjah, June 2, WAM / Sharjah Municipality has started planting the second phase of Maliha Road from Budaiya Bridge over a length of 7.8 km, where the total area to be cultivated is approximately 865,800 square meters.
Planting work will include planting green areas, trees and flowering shrubs on both sides of the road, with a width of 75 meters on the Raqiba side and 30 meters in width on the fold side, as well as planting the central island with a width. of 6 meters with bougainvillea bushes The project is implemented in four stages.
Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, Director General of Sharjah City Municipality, explained that all the procedures to start the project have been completed and the necessary permits have been obtained in coordination with the relevant authorities, departments and bodies and then the work has started. collect and pump treated irrigation water, with a length of 5 km. Irrigation networks for the first phase have also been completed, green areas for planting have been started, and irrigation networks for the second phase with a length of 2 km have been started, and work is still being done to complete the project according to plan and schedule.
