Sharjah, August 28 / WAM / The Sharjah Police General Command confirmed the success of the implementation of the first phase of the “receipt and delivery of found and lost items”, which was launched since last June in cooperation with the Osoul Smart Applications Company ( Buraq ) with the aim of enabling customers to receive their lost belongings while in their residence. Without in-person attendance, the service achieved a 97% completion rate.
Colonel Yousef bin Harmoul, Director of the Comprehensive Police Station Department, said that the Sharjah Police General Command is keen to continue to develop its services and facilitate its procedures for customers, which is reflected in improving the quality of life for them and in line with the strategy of the Ministry of Interior had for the purpose of increasing customer satisfaction with the services provided.
He pointed out that the first phase of “found service reception and delivery” has been completed at Wasit Comprehensive Police and Buhaira Comprehensive Police Stations and the second phase is being implemented in other centers of the Sharjah Police General Command, adding, that the management is also determined to intensify efforts and open areas for cooperation with various concerned authorities in order to achieve its goals and increase the quality of life for members of society.
