Etihad Airways Expands Interline Agreements with Five Airlines

Etihad Airways has recently announced the establishment of reciprocal interline agreements with five new airline partners, enhancing the travel options available to passengers within its extensive global network. The airlines involved in these partnerships include Kam Air in Afghanistan, SKY express in Greece, Rex Airlines in Australia, Jeju Air in Korea, and Myanmar Airways International.

These interline agreements have been developed to offer customers of all participating airlines improved connectivity to a wider range of destinations across each other’s networks. Passengers now have the convenience of booking their entire journey on a single ticket and having their baggage checked through to their final destination, providing a seamless travel experience.

Passengers traveling through Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport can now easily connect to Kam Air flights to Kabul and other destinations in Afghanistan. Travelers flying on Etihad’s routes to Athens can seamlessly transfer to SKY express flights, granting access to 28 destinations across Greece and its beautiful Mediterranean islands. Rex Airlines now provides travelers with convenient access to 22 destinations across Australia from Etihad’s gateways in Sydney and Melbourne, including Adelaide, Hobart, Canberra, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast.

The partnership with Jeju Air offers passengers the opportunity to extend their journey to 27 destinations across seven countries in Northeast Asia from Seoul. Additionally, the agreement with Myanmar Airways International will improve access to Yangon and Mandalay via Etihad’s gateways in South Asia. With these new partnerships, Etihad now boasts a total of 123 interline, codeshare, and strategic alliances with airlines around the world.
