Abu Dhabi: “The Gulf”
Etihad Airways confirmed the return of its services to operate from Terminal 4 at London Heathrow with effect from 22 June 2022. It had started operating its flights from Terminals 2 and 3 for a temporary period during the pandemic. Note that airline connecting services will also be reopened, including “London Underground” and “Heathrow Express”.
The Etihad Airways passenger lounge will also reopen for First and Business Class guests as well as Platinum and Gold members of the Etihad Guest. The lounge includes areas designated for rest and dining, as well as areas for children’s play and entertainment.
Increase trips
Etihad also confirmed that it will increase the number of its daily flights from London Heathrow, from four to five, from July to September 2022. It will also increase its flights serving Dublin to become daily flights from July. It will continue to serve the Manchester destination with daily flights.
It is expected that after the official opening of Terminal 4 on 22 June, the airport will experience a large number of journeys. To ensure a comfortable and smooth ride, Etihad invites its guests to complete their travel procedures online and arrive at the airport early during this period, bearing in mind that Etihad check-in counters open their doors at London Heathrow Airport three hours before departure time. It should also be ensured that the guest receives the certificate “Travel Authorized” through the company’s website.
