Food Crowd, part of Al Dahra; the UAE’s prominent multinational leader in agribusiness, an online grocery store empowering local farming, launches its Express Delivery feature, allowing customers to receive groceries within 60 minutes of ordering.

As a concept brewing in the background for several months, and in a bid to offer customers guaranteed fresh and premium quality products conveniently and speedily, the online food delivery platform swiftly addressed receiving several requests to have a faster delivery time on their product offerings, by developing the concept and launching its Express Delivery service available in over 40 destinations across Dubai.

Among the popular pantry favorites, the platform houses an array of quality products, including fresh vegetables and fruit, dairy, eggs, and premium meat and seafood. Customers can now seamlessly browse through the platform’s extensive list, search for the ‘Express Delivery Icon’ placed on items across the various categories, add to their carts, and enjoy delivery within one hour.

Not only is the new service hugely beneficial for customers who appreciate fine quality produce and require it within a quick time frame, but it is promising for local producers who wish to drive sales. Food Crowd’s platform aims to bridge the gap between producers and consumers and continues to firmly promote “From the Community to the Community” and “Buy Local to Support Local”. The newly announced service is just another example of its commitment to providing UAE residents with access to local products, supporting local farms, and ultimately contributing to reducing carbon emissions.

The active platform was one of the first online platforms in the UAE to offer automated ordering via WhatsApp, this, along with the user-friendly website and its app (Android and IOS), further enables fast and convenient customer service, displaying Food Crowd’s aim to be at the forefront.

Along with these stand-out, top-tier services for all customers across the seven emirates, Food Crowd’s mission continues to ensure delivery at its best with the same-day delivery service on orders placed before 10 am.

“Our easy-to-use platform and delivery services pay testament to our desire to exceed the ‘customer-experience’ expectation. Food Crowd firmly holds on to its mission and prominent values of encouraging the community to shop locally. We promise to connect you to the best quality and valuable deals, which is often easy to see why customers love to shop from our platform,” comments Soula Baroudi, Head of E-commerce and Marketing.

The Express Delivery service is available for orders placed on the Food Crowd website, with delivery to 41 locations within a 15km radius of its warehouse in Dubai. The platform aims to develop this service and announce additional delivery locations for Express Delivery in the near future.
