Global COVID-19 cases cross 500.2 million

WORLD CAPITALS, 15th April, 2022 (WAM) — More than 500.2 million people have been reported to be infected by the coronavirus globally, and over 6.6 million people have died, according to a Reuters tally on Friday.

Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in December 2019.
