Global COVID-19 cases cross 509.65 million

LONDON, 29th April, 2022 (WAM) — More than 509.65 million people have been reported to be infected by the coronavirus globally, and 6,623,976 have died, according to a Reuters tally on Friday.

Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in December 2019.
