Global COVID-19 cases cross 513 million

LONDON, 6th May, 2022 (WAM) — More than 513.48 million people have been reported to be infected by the coronavirus globally, and 6,640,771 have died, according to a Reuters tally on Friday.

The US has topped the list with 997,579 deaths and 81,672,286 infections, followed by India with 523,975 deaths and 43,091,393 infections.
