A FRICS-qualified chartered surveyor, Harry moved from London to join Savills (formerly Cluttons) in Oman in 2006, where he was responsible for developing the agency and consultancy teams. Having discovered an interest and talent for growing new businesses in complex markets, Harry later moved to Dubai with his family, to set up and run the office in neighbouring Abu Dhabi.

In 2011, he took over the reins of the business in Bahrain, which remains his base today as Head of Northern Gulf. During his time in this role, he has overseen expansion of Savills into two new markets, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

David Forbes, chairman, Savills Private Office, said, “Harry’s experience operating in a discreet and confidential private advisory role within the Northern Gulf, coupled with his long-standing knowledge of London and other leading European markets, means we can offer unrivalled global property investment opportunities and advice to clients in this region.

“His knowledge and expertise will help guide them through a blend of property, financial and regulatory matters on the ground and ensure access to the extensive Savills global network.”

Harry Goodson-Wickes, said, “I am delighted to join The Private Office as it will give our long-standing Middle East clients even greater access to the breadth of global specialists at Savills, and thereby enable us to provide the best possible strategic advice.”

Savills Private Office was established in 2007, by David Forbes, to offer clients a highly discreet and personalised service with access to all the expertise of a leading global real estate company. It offers a boutique experience within a multinational company, a single point of contact directly into the Savills global network with a dedicated team whose knowledge and contacts are unrivalled.
