His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, presented the title of the first Hope Maker in the Arab world to Tala Al Khalil from Iraq. This distinction was awarded after receiving over 58,000 nominations for the fourth edition of Hope Makers.

The grand finale took place at the “Coca-Cola Arena” in Dubai, where the winner received a financial reward amounting to Dhs 1 million. Sheikh Mohammed ensured that all four “Hope Makers” were equally recognized during the ceremony.

The event was attended by prominent media, humanitarian, and cultural figures from the Arab world. The program featured an operetta called “The Arab Dream,” which celebrated the accomplishments of the Hope Makers through inspiring humanitarian stories.

The judging process for the Hope Makers initiative involved evaluating the impact and success of the nominees’ community initiatives. The finalists had to demonstrate innovative solutions to address specific issues in their societies.

Under the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation Global Initiatives, the Hope Makers initiative aligns with Sheikh Mohammed’s vision of spreading hope and positivity in the region. It aims to showcase individuals who work tirelessly to improve the lives of others, providing them with recognition, support, and resources to expand the reach of their projects and benefit more people.
