SHARJAH, 5th July, 2022 (WAM) — The 3rd edition of the Jewels of Emirates Show, organised by Expo Centre Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), has concluded on a high note after four days of fantastic show, attracting over 5,000 visitors from across the UAE.

The event has brought together some 20 designers and around 100 exhibitors from leading gold and jewellery brands, in addition to top perfumeries and fashion houses. With its amazing jewellery pieces created by a group of Emirati designers who were inspired by the Emirati heritage, the “Emirates Jewelers” platform captured the attention of visitors.

The exhibition featured the launch of Shamma Alhallami’s “Desert Blossom” jewellery collection in cooperation with Salem Al Shueibi Jewellery and a number of Emirati brands have also made public for the first time. Taking advantage of the event’s standing and reputation, these brands seized the opportunity to showcase their best works of art in front of those who were enthusiastic about anything new.

Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, stressed that the third edition of the Jewels of Emirates Show has witnessed an impressive turnout of visitors and exhibitors, which underlines its distinct position and growing relevance among important gold and jewellery events. The show has undoubtedly added value to the efforts being made by the centre to support the local gold and jewellery industry, Al Midfa said.

Many representatives of national and local companies taking part in the event expressed their thanks and gratitude to Expo Centre Sharjah, emphasising that the show was timed well to promote their most recent brands, as well as their gold and jewellery designs.

Saeed Ghanem Al Suwaidi, CEO of Mémoire jewellery, said that the company has been eagerly waiting for the exhibition to launch its brand and introduce their products to the broadest audience of visitors, while the designer, Azza Al Jarwan noted that her participation in the event represented a unique experience and an exceptional opportunity to showcase her distinctive jewellery designs that reflect the Emirati taste.
