Liverpool John Lennon Airport has issued an update on a new route to Dubai.
The service is being run by Lufthansa as the airline recently announced a new four weekly service between Liverpool and Frankfurt. The flights from the Speke-based airport to Lufthansa’s German hub will start from May 2.
The route will unlock travel from Liverpool to hundreds of destinations worldwide. Liverpool John Lennon Airport announced on Twitter that holidaymakers will now be able to enjoy convenient travel to Dubai from Liverpool.
It said: “Here are some of the benefits of flying from Liverpool. One of the few North West departures that lands in Dubai at a sociable hour, with direct flights not arriving until early am.
“Travel on Europe’s only 5-star airline at an amazing price. Connection over Frankfurt is only 2 hours on outbound and 1 hour 30 on return, meaning total travel time is only 10 hours.”
The information explained in the update is based on having three full days to explore Dubai and return flights are priced from £565. Lufthansa’s flights from Liverpool to Frankfurt will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
