by Dubaiforum

Emarat, also known as Emirates General Petroleum Corporation, has recently announced a groundbreaking partnership with Al Maryah Community Bank, granting them the exclusive naming rights to one of its fuel stations. This marks the first time in both local and global history that a company has secured the rights to name a fuel station under Emarat’s Project Landmark initiative.

Ali Khalifa Al Shamsi, Director-General of Emarat, expressed pride in the collaboration with Al Maryah Community Bank, emphasizing the confidence in Emarat’s strategic approach demonstrated by the partnership. He highlighted the positive economic impact of the project and the unique opportunities it provides for companies to prioritize customer satisfaction in their business operations.

Through the Mbank mobile app, customers will now be able to make quick and secure payment transactions by scanning a QR code at checkout counters using their mobile phones. This seamless payment option is set to enhance the overall customer experience at Emarat fuel stations.

Mohammed Wassim Khayata, CEO of Al Maryah Community Bank, expressed gratitude for the strategic partnership with Emarat, which has allowed them to secure the naming rights for a fuel station on a global scale. This initiative aligns with the bank’s innovative strategies to increase visibility and improve customer experiences at fuel stations and affiliated stores.

As part of the collaboration, Emarat stations have introduced Al Maryah Community Bank’s Mbank wallet digital wallet services, enabling customers to make contactless payments after refueling or purchasing goods at FreshPlus station stores. By scanning the QR code at mobile payment counters, customers can enjoy a safe and convenient payment experience at Emarat stations.
