ABU DHABI, 7th March, 2022 (WAM) — Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, met with Dr. Robert Lauer, Ambassador of Luxembourg to the UAE.
At the start of the meeting, Sheikh Nahyan welcomed Lauer and wished him a good stay in the UAE.
Both sides also discussed the strategic relations and areas of mutual concern between the two countries.
Sheikh Nahyan said the UAE and Luxembourg share deep-rooted ties, which are witnessing significant development, due to the support of their leadership.
The UAE, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and in light of the principles of peace, tolerance and human solidarity, is keen to boost its strategic ties with the entire world, most notably with Luxembourg, he added.
Lauer highlighted his country’s keenness to reinforce its ties with the UAE and establish a comprehensive strategic partnership, lauding the UAE’s successful hosting of Expo 2020 Dubai, as the country is a distinguished model and has significant capabilities in hosting international events.
He also highlighted his country’s keenness to collaborate with the UAE in promoting the values of tolerance, peace and solidarity, through launching joint international initiatives.
