New partnership reveals direct flights from Fujairah to Cairo announced

by Dubaiforum

Travellers will soon have the convenience of booking direct flights from Fujairah to Cairo, Egypt, as announced by Fujairah International Airport. Starting in July, two flights will operate between the two cities every week on Sundays and Thursdays as part of a new partnership between Fujairah Airport administration and Egyptair, the state-owned flag carrier of Egypt.

Captain Ismail Al Balushi, director-general of Fujairah International Airport, stated that this initiative aims to enhance travel options to and from the emirate to meet the increasing demand for local and regional trips. Al Balushi emphasized the airport’s commitment to providing a comfortable travel experience with quick clearance procedures to enhance the overall journey.

This new partnership follows a previous announcement made in July last year, where Fujairah Airport revealed plans to connect the emirate to 18 new destinations in collaboration with Oman’s SalamAir. The expansion of flight routes demonstrates Fujairah’s commitment to improving connectivity and accessibility for travellers in the region.
