Qatar reports 71 new COVID-19 cases, 146 recoveries

DOHA, 26th April, 2022 (WAM) — The Qatari Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) reported today 71 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) during the past 24 hours, and recorded 146 recoveries from the virus, bringing the total number of cases recovered in Qatar to 362,922, according to Qatar News Agency.

In a statement, the MOPH said that 69 of the new confirmed cases are among community and two cases among travelers. It pointed out that 6,742,968 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered since the start of the vaccination program, adding that 2,486 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the past 24 hours.
