Ras Al Khaimah Municipality’s branch represented by the Geographic Information Systems Center signed a memorandum of understanding with the Department of Economic Development, based on the vision of Emirates Ras Al Khaimah to automatically modernize the geographic data infrastructure project for Emirates Ras Al Khaimah.
This memorandum aims to increase cooperation between the two Parties in order to increase the efficiency, improve, develop and implement the geographical data infrastructure of the Emirate Ras Al Khaimah and to exchange experiences, information, data and resources available between the two Parties. Munther Al Zaabi stressed the importance of this collaboration to establish and develop an advanced geodata infrastructure system rich in geographic and descriptive data to be used as an effective tool for planning, designing and managing development projects and based on acumen. of the two parties to lay the foundations for joint strategic cooperation between them.
Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Shayeb Al Naqbi, for his part, stated that the signing of the agreement with the municipal department to improve the geographic data infrastructure through the use of smart technologies that store important data for the emirate and extract statistics such as the location of economic activities and their classifications , real estate, buildings, etc., and the Department of Economic Development is a strategic partner in this project.To provide all the necessary data.
