The Sharjah Heritage Institute discussed aspects of cultural cooperation with cultural events in the Republic of Northern Macedonia and participation in various cultural and heritage events and activities.
This happened during a meeting with the head of the department, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Muslim, with the Ambassador of the Republic of Northern Macedonia to the country, Abdelkader Mimidi.
Al-Musallam explained that the meeting was about different aspects of the cooperation on several cultural activities and programs and participation in them, whether it is in Sharjah or in northern Macedonia, and there was agreement on many proposals that help to strengthen and consolidate the cultural relations between the two sides, in addition to the participation of some parties in showing manuscripts.And the Arabic documents in Northern Macedonia, and the printing of a dictionary of the influence of the Arabic language on the Balkan languages.
He added that “Northern Macedonia has a rich history and cultural heritage and is characterized by civilized, cultural and ethnic diversity, and the meeting with the Macedonian Ambassador came as a further new step helping to strengthen ties and relations between the Emirate of Sharjah. and Northern Macedonia. “
Abdul Qadir Mimidi, for his part, stressed the importance of collaborating with the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, noting that various cultural and heritage issues were reviewed and continued to strengthen relationships and exchange experiences, expertise, ideas and initiatives. He pointed out that the visit to the Sharjah Institute for Heritage added value to the balance between the cultural relations that connect Sharjah with northern Macedonia.
