Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), has been named one of Fast Company Middle East’s 35 Most Creative People in Business.
It’s in recognition of her role in transforming the creative and cultural sector in Dubai.
In a Tweet, Sheikha Latifa described it as “privilege” to be on the list “alongside inspiring changemakers”.
“I look forward to exploring areas of collaboration with the creative leaders on the list to shape the future of the local cultural and creative sector together,” she wrote.

Sheikha Latifa noted that the rapid development of the creative and cultural sector that Dubai is witnessing would not have been possible without the support of the country’s wise leadership and government, her team at Dubai Culture, and the partners they work with across different sectors.
“All of us are working as one team to make Dubai the destination of choice for creative talent from around the world. I look forward to finding new opportunities for collaboration with the other creative leaders to build the future of the cultural and creative sector in Dubai and the region,” she added.
The Most Creative People in Business list recognises creative visionaries and trailblazers who disrupt industries, have a positive impact on their communities and have made a measurable difference in their sector, society and beyond.
