Startups in Saudi Arabia Secured 8 Million Funding in March 2024

In March 2024, startup funding in the MENA region saw significant activity, with Saudi Arabia leading the way by raising 8 million across 25 deals. The majority of this funding went to Salla, a Saudi-based SaaS provider, in a pre-IPO round that secured 0 million. Following closely behind, the United Arab Emirates received million in funding through 12 deals, making it the second-highest recipient in the region. Egypt also saw funding activity, with eight startups raising million.

Overall, startups in the MENA region secured a total of 4 million in March 2024, bringing the total raised in the first quarter of the year to 9 million. SaaS providers dominated the funding landscape, receiving 0.6 million, while fintech companies secured million and e-commerce startups raised million. This trend highlights the growing interest and investment opportunities in the region’s startup ecosystem.
