Escape the four walls of the office and be transported into the tropical paradise of the bustling DIFC hotspot, Amazónico, and discover a fresh new lunch offering. Dynamic in nature, the “Menu Ejecutivo” Business Lunch offers guests a three or four-course set lunch menu whilst bringing the finest ingredients sourced from Latin America to the table. Available from Monday to Friday between 12pm and 3pm, the new Business Lunch, served in The Restaurant, takes guests on a journey through the Amazon.
The menu begins with a choice of small and refreshing Raw bites; from the punchy Causa de Bonito with yellow and sweet potato, white tuna and avocado, to the fiery yet melt-in-your-mouth Beef Tartare. The fresh Sandia & Palmito puts the spotlight on watermelon and heart of palm straight from the Amazon with pickled fennel and Andean pesto.
Guests can then choose from a selection of Petisks; from the Peruvian favourite Arepa de Aji de Gallina to the Empanada de Zapallo with roasted pumpkin, corn, shiitake mushroom, finished with peanut chili and truffle oil. Fish fans will love the Langostinos Melosos, subtly crisp tempura shrimp complemented with garlic, ginger and peanut sauce finished with sweet mango.
For the main course, classic Latin American dishes have been given an Amazónico twist. From the Cachete de Res; slow-cooked beef cheek with spicy carrot purée and onion pickle, to the Espinica y Coliflor; sautéed spinach, roasted cauliflower, and caramelized onion served with a creamy garlic sauce. The Arroz con Pollo with grilled chicken drumsticks, rice, and chorizo finished with pebre sauce combines tradition with contemporary flair and featuring only the freshest catch is the Lubina Nikkei with sea bass, garlic ginger Nikkei stew and pak choy.
Those looking to satisfy their sweet tooth can revel in Amazónico’s dessert line-up, with choices including the Mocha, a dulce crunch with 70% chocolate and Colombian coffee cream or the signature Piña Rostizada with roasted caramel glazed pineapple and corn cake served with a light coconut sorbet. Guests can also choose from a selection of homemade tropical ice creams and sorbet, from fresh passion fruit, mango and coconut.
Try the light and tropical Japazónico
As a great alternative to the formal business lunch, diners can also opt for a light and refreshing special 3-course menu, Japazónico, served in the Dining Lounge. Available from Monday to Friday between 12pm and 5pm, this sushi set menu showcases Amazónico’s signature Nikkei style tiradito, maki and nigiri, bringing new exotic flavours to lunchtime. Running throughout the afternoon, Japazónico is perfect for both an early and late lunch.
