The Al Jalila Center for Child Culture of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority “Dubai Culture” is launching its summer 2022 program from next Monday to August 26 in collaboration with its partners “Read”, “Project You” and “Musical Arts Center”, where children and young people must live between the Center’s corridors is a unique experience in a cultural and educational atmosphere filled with entertainment.
Over the course of two months, the Al Jalila Center offers its members a range of cultural and artistic activities aimed at developing children’s creative talents and unleashing their imagination within four age groups: 5-4 years, 8-6 years, 11-9 years , 16-12 years.

Adel Omar, senior director of the Al Jalila Center’s Media and Special Projects Department, suggested that this program seeks to broaden children’s intellectual and craft horizons and encourage them to invest their time in school holidays in an optimal way, adding: “We see together with our partners in the program to create a safe space.For children and young people in an environment that encourages innovation and self-expression, by utilizing the center’s abilities and the experiences of its staff to strengthen their innovative spirit and ambitions, develop their talents and build solid bridges so that they can move towards a creative future. “
With the Al Jalila Summer Program 2022, young people are waiting for days full of fun with a range of educational and entertaining activities developed by the “Iqra” Center for Arabic Language Teaching, including creative writing, interactive storytelling, conversation, games, quizzes and more.
The “Project You” center will also offer self-development workshops focusing on experiences, to learn about cultures, communities, industries and more. Through the program Summer 2022, children will receive guidance and technical support from the center’s artists specializing in visual and performing arts, as they will enjoy learning different techniques in the design studio to produce unique works of art, and will have the opportunity to explore musical instruments and technology, and unleash their creativity.
Culinary art
The young people will also immerse themselves in a fun experience to develop their life skills by engaging them in learning cooking, where they will learn how to cook, cook and serve various delicious dishes in the center’s kitchen, in addition to workshops aimed at e.g. discover children’s talents and hone their skills, such as sessions dedicated to improving craft skills. They use different techniques and materials to make distinctive handmade products.
