
Recently, Saudi Arabia officially announced a new national airline named “Riyadh Air” and it will be fully government owned. As part of the agenda of the Saudi crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman, the company is expected to operate flights from the Saudi capital to more than 100 destinations in the world by 2030, and this as part of the crown prince’s “Vision 2030” reform to fly more than 330 million passengers by the end of the decade.

The new company will leverage the country’s strategic location between the continents of Asia, Africa and Europe, and will allow the capital Riyadh to become a world gateway and distinct tourist destination, according to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s plan.
