The Cultural Complex, affiliated with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, will host the “Cake and Sprinkles” event, which represents an innovative concept that combines art and entertainment, giving visitors of all ages a unique opportunity to enjoy delicious food and drinks while tasting art and creativity through a group of selected works of art by artists from the UAE.
“Cake and Sprinkles” is an event inspired by the exhibition of Emirati artist living in the United States, Farah Al Qasimi (Public Actions), which is currently being held at the Cultural Complex. 2012 to 2021.
This event, which runs until 31 August and is located on the first floor of the Kulturkomplekset, coincides with the campaign “Your Summer is Better with Us” in Abu Dhabi, which invites the local community and visitors to explore cultural and entertainment experiences full of joy and fun, along with great deals on hotels and attractions across the country.
“Cakes and Sprinkles” is a great destination for families and friends, to enjoy a menu of delicious food and drinks from cakes, coffee and ice cream, while viewing works by 25 artists based in the UAE, presenting their vision of sweets, and the event also includes many interactive entertainment areas.
It is noteworthy that the Cultural Foundation provides an integrated platform to shed light on the vibrant cultural and artistic scene in Abu Dhabi and the UAE. During a visit to the complex, visitors can explore its program of art exhibitions, educational facilities, performing arts, workshops and classes for adults and children, and the Abu Dhabi Children’s Library.
