The Emirates Shooting Federation will today and tomorrow complete the evaluation tests for the first national team shooters, who are expected to represent the country in the upcoming tournaments, according to criteria set by the Technical Committee and approved by the Board.
The criteria are focused on the shooter obtaining 372 dishes out of 400 dishes to be eligible to participate in the name of the state in the league’s official foreign tournaments.
The results of the first evaluation resulted in shooter Walid Ahmed Al-Ariani topping the list with a score of 195 out of 200 dishes, followed by Yahya Suhail Al Muhairi (194 points), Hamad Ahmed bin Mejren (192 bowls), Abdullah Muhammad Buhaliba (191 bowls), Daher Al-Ariani (190 bowls) and Meshaal Al-Bannai (182 points), and shooters Seif Al-Shamsi and Ahmed Yahya Al-Hammadi, are just in last seventh place, with 179 points. Rabie Al-Awadi, Vice-Chairman of the Association and Chairman of the Technical Committee, confirmed that the Association has drawn up a roadmap for shooters qualified to participate in the upcoming foreign tournaments.
