The Regional Center for Educational Planning organized a training program entitled “Designing and applying public policies in education and measuring their impact”, to achieve the Centre’s goal of building national and regional capacities in educational planning, targeting 40 trainees from specialists in educational planning and education policies, including directors and department heads From 8 countries: UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria and Tunisia, in addition to specialists from UNESCO regional offices.

During the programme, the center was keen to introduce public policies and education policies and their interrelationship, prepare the education policy and how it is implemented, measure its impact and present the experiences of some countries to benefit from them in the preparation and implementation of Education Policy Participants’ performance tasks The training concludes with a presentation of learning outcomes and performance tasks.

Mahra Al Mutaiwee, Director General of the Regional Center for Education Planning, said the training program gave the center an opportunity to expand the circle of countries that benefit from its programs and initiatives.
