Two Syrian children receiving medical treatment in UAE

by Dubaiforum

As part of the ongoing relief efforts for victims of the devastating earthquakes that struck Syria and Turkey, two Syrian children, Sham (age 9) and Omar (age 15), have been flown to Abu Dhabi for urgent treatment on a special medical aircraft.

Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, Mother of the Nation, and Honourary President of Emirates Red Crescent directed the urgent treatment for the children’s injuries.

The Emirates Red Crescent emphasized the significance of collaborating with health institutions to provide aid to those in need.

The medical teams in Abu Dhabi say they are doing everything they can to ensure the children receive the best possible care.

Bashar Aleeq, a member of Sham’s family who accompanied her to Abu Dhabi, expressed gratitude towards the leadership of the UAE and Her Highness Sheikha Fatima.
