The UAE’s first astronaut Hazza Al Mansoori will serve as the back up for Sultan Al Neyadi, who is set to go on a six-month mission to the International Space Station (ISS) next year.

It’s going to be a role reversal for the pair who worked together on a space mission two years ago when Al Neyadi served as Al Mansoori’s back up

Salem Al Marri, Director-General of the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre, spoke to Dubai Eye 103.8’s The Agenda about the back-up training process for the long-term ISS mission.
