UAE Foreign Minister visits the Syrian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai

UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited the Syrian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.

During his tour of the various sections of the pavilion, the Emirati minister was briefed on the exhibits in the pavilion, including a replica of the Ugarit alphabet and a visual and audio presentation of the piece “Song to Nikal”, which is considered the oldest musical record in history.

Minister Bin Zayed expressed his admiration for the wooden plaques sent by Syrians from all over the world to be their message to the world at Expo Dubai.

An Emirati delegation headed by Minister of Community Development Hessa bint Issa Buhumaid visited the Syrian pavilion in the exhibition last month and was briefed on the exhibits included in the pavilion. Since its inception, the pavilion has been visited by delegations and representatives from many countries and organizations participating or visiting the exhibition.
