Sharjah’s utility firm, Sewa, has introduced that 4,500 residents residing within the emirate to profit from a serious utility subsidy introduced by the authority.

Saeed Sultan Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Sharjah Electrical energy, Water and Gasoline Authority, (Sewa) confirmed that the corporate has been directed to exempt Dh400 from the water, electrical energy, and fuel consumption invoice for 4,500 residents who’re at the moment receiving help from Sharjah social service to cut back monetary burdens.

The step was taken following the directives from His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
