Global Village Unveils Attractions for Captivating Season 31
The countdown to the much-anticipated return of Global Village has officially begun, with less than a week remaining until the grand opening of Season 31 on October 14 at 6:00 PM. This year promises to be an extraordinary experience, overflowing with a diverse array of attractions, culinary delights, and entertainment spectacles that beckon families and visitors of all ages.
Spanning over 29 pavilions, Global Village celebrates cultural diversity by showcasing more than 90 distinct cultures. Each pavilion offers a unique glimpse into the customs, traditions, and flavors that characterize different regions of the world. In addition to cultural displays, the venue features over 3,500 shopping outlets that present an eclectic mix of products—from handicrafts and textiles to gourmet foods—ensuring a fulfilling shopping experience for visitors.
Among the notable enhancements made for the 31st season are the renovated pavilions for Sri Lanka, Russia, and Azerbaijan, designed to elevate the immersive cultural experience for guests. Additionally, the Syrian and Kuwaiti pavilions have returned with striking new façades, adding to the vibrant tapestry of Global Village. Landmarks within the destination, such as the enchanting Gardens of the World, the iconic Cultural Gate, and the visually appealing Sharjah tunnel entrance, have also undergone significant upgrades to bolster their appeal.
Culinary enthusiasts will find themselves spoiled for choice this season, as Global Village introduces over 250 dining options. This is complemented by new restaurant concepts and café additions, aiming to cater to a wide range of tastes and preferences. The renowned Dessert District, a favorite among sweet-toothed visitors, has been given a refreshed aesthetic, enhancing the overall gastronomic experience at the park.
Season 31 is poised to boost its entertainment offerings with an impressive lineup of over 200 attractions, ensuring that both thrill-seekers and family-oriented visitors have ample options to enjoy. A highlight of the season will be the introduction of “Tokyo Rush,” a new roller coaster designed to cater to the adrenaline junkies among us, making its debut later in the season.
Entertainment remains a central pillar of Global Village’s appeal, with a staggering 40,000 performances planned for this season. New offerings include the high-adrenaline stunt show “Fast Live 2: The Police Strikes Back,” as well as two anchor productions, “Bollywood Idol” and “Bank Heist.” Long-standing favorites such as “Slam,” Care Bears, and PJ Masks will also make their return, ensuring that returning guests have the chance to reconnect with beloved acts.
In light of the ever-evolving needs of its patrons, Global Village is implementing a suite of operational improvements designed to elevate the guest experience. This includes the integration of a user-friendly WhatsApp chatbot for real-time customer service, enhanced parking facilities to minimize wait times, expanded family amenities to accommodate guests with children, and improved signage throughout the venue to facilitate navigation.
As the season commences, Global Village anticipates welcoming throngs of visitors, particularly during its extended operating hours. Sundays through Wednesdays will see the destination open from 4:00 PM until midnight, while Thursdays through Saturdays, as well as public holidays, will extend hours until 1:00 AM. Ticket prices are set at AED 25 during weekdays and AED 30 on weekends and public holidays. Guests can secure their entries through the Global Village website, mobile app, or directly at the entrance gates.
This year’s return of Global Village promises not only to celebrate multiculturalism but also to offer a platform that brings communities together through shared experiences. With significant investments in both entertainment and operational enhancements, it is clear that Season 31 is set to be an unforgettable chapter in the storied history of this famed Dubai attraction.
