The evening commenced at 6 PM, captivating guests with a remarkable drone show paired with a choral performance titled “The Parade of the World.” This season, themed “A More Wonderful World,” promises to enthrall attendees with a host of new attractions, enhanced experiences, and a celebration of cultural diversity.

Each year, Global Village transforms into a vibrant tapestry of global cultures, and this season is no exception. Among the major highlights is the return of high-octane entertainment with the stunt show “Fast Live 2: The Police Strike Back.” In addition to this thrilling production, two new musicals have been introduced: “Bollywood Idol,” which pays homage to the beats and rhythms of Indian cinema, and “Bank Heist,” a gripping narrative that promises to entertain audiences with suspense and intrigue.

For thrill-seekers, the eagerly awaited roller coaster known as “Tokyo Rush” is set to make its debut later this season, further expanding the range of attractions that Global Village offers. With 29 distinct pavilions representing over 90 cultures, the venue this year features an impressive 3,500 shopping outlets. A veritable culinary paradise, Global Village showcases more than 250 dining options, catering to a variety of tastes and preferences.

In a constant pursuit of enhancement, the organization has taken steps to refresh several of its popular pavilions. Notably, visitors will find revamped displays at the Sri Lanka, Russia, and Azerbaijan pavilions. The façades of the Syria and Kuwait pavilions have also undergone renovation, further enriching the aesthetic and functional appeal of this cultural marketplace.

Furthermore, this season introduces a plethora of new food establishments, such as the Trabzon Turkish Restaurant, Robo Al Sham, Hawawshi Al Rabie, and Chicking. These outlets not only diversify the culinary landscape but also reflect the rich gastronomic traditions that characterize the regions they represent.

Enhancing the visitor experience, Global Village has implemented a user-friendly VIP parking self-payment system, allowing for seamless parking experiences. Additionally, a new WhatsApp chatbot has been launched to provide instant information and assistance to guests, ensuring that they maximize their enjoyment during their visit.

Fernando Eiroa, CEO of Dubai Holding Entertainment, articulated the profound significance of Global Village in the community. “Global Village holds a special place in people’s lives because of the connections they make here,” he stated. This sentiment underscores the notion that Global Village is not merely an entertainment venue but a cultural melting pot where relationships and experiences flourish.

Global Village is slated to run until May 2027, inviting visitors from all walks of life to partake in its offerings. Operating hours are conveniently structured; the park opens from 4 PM to midnight Sunday through Wednesday, and stays open an hour later until 1 AM from Thursday to Saturday, as well as on public holidays. Notably, Tuesdays have been designated for families and women only, promoting a safe and welcoming environment for these groups, except during public holidays.
