Global Village Kicks Off Season 31 with Extravaganza: A Flourishing Cultural and Entertainment Hub in Dubai
In a vibrant celebration of culture and entertainment, Global Village is set to launch its 31st season with an exhilarating opening night on Wednesday at 6 pm. The event, which promises to be a feast for the senses, will feature an awe-inspiring drone show alongside a choral performance titled “The Parade of the World.” This year’s season, themed “A More Wonderful World,” aims to deepen connections between diverse cultures while providing unprecedented entertainment experiences for visitors.
The latest season of Global Village, which has become a hallmark of Dubai’s entertainment landscape, will introduce several noteworthy attractions, including the riveting stunt show “Fast Live 2: The Police Strike Back.” Additionally, theatrical aficionados can look forward to new musicals such as “Bollywood Idol” and “Bank Heist,” both of which are set to captivate audiences with their fresh narratives and stellar performances. Further enhancing the thrill for visitors is the introduction of a new roller coaster named “Tokyo Rush,” which will open later in the season, inviting adrenaline-seekers to partake in an unforgettable adventure.
This year, the Global Village will proudly host 29 pavilions that represent more than 90 different cultures, showcasing the rich tapestry of global traditions. Visitors will find over 3,500 shopping outlets, where they can explore an extensive range of products from various countries. The culinary scene is equally impressive, featuring more than 250 dining options, ensuring that food enthusiasts can indulge in authentic international cuisines. With over 40,000 shows scheduled and more than 200 attractions planned throughout the season, Global Village is set to deliver an unparalleled experience for guests of all ages.
Notably, several pavilions have received updates and renovations to enhance their appeal. The Sri Lanka, Russia, and Azerbaijan pavilions have undergone refreshment, while the Syrian and Kuwaiti pavilions have debuted new façades, offering a rejuvenated visual experience for guests. In line with its commitment to diversifying its culinary offerings, Global Village introduces new food outlets, including Trabzon Turkish Restaurant, Robo Al Sham, Hawawshi Al Rabie, and Chicking. These additions are aimed at tantalizing taste buds and providing visitors with an extensive array of gastronomy options that celebrate global flavors.
In an effort to enhance guest accessibility and convenience, Global Village is also introducing a new VIP parking self-payment system. Furthermore, a WhatsApp chatbot will be available for visitors, providing real-time information and assistance during their time at the venue. Such initiatives reflect the organization’s commitment to improving guest experiences in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Drawing on the profound impact of this cultural hub, Fernando Eiroa, CEO of Dubai Holding Entertainment, remarked, “Global Village holds a special place in people’s lives because of the connections they make here.” This sentiment captures the essence of the Global Village experience—an environment where people from all walks of life can gather, share, and celebrate their differences and commonalities alike.
The festivities at Global Village will continue until May 2027, with convenient operating hours from 4 pm to midnight Sunday through Wednesday, and from 4 pm to 1 am Thursday through Saturday and on public holidays. It is worth noting that Tuesdays have been designated as days exclusively reserved for families and women, further fostering an inclusive atmosphere, although public holidays will see the exception to this rule.
Entry tickets are available for purchase both on the Global Village website and mobile application, as well as at on-site ticket counters located at all entrances of the venue. With such an expansive array of attractions and experiences on offer, Global Village stands poised to reaffirm its status as one of Dubai’s premier entertainment destinations.
As the curtain rises on this new season of Global Village, the anticipation is palpable. Culture, entertainment, and culinary delights await, making it an essential stop for anyone looking to immerse themselves in an unforgettable cross-cultural experience.
