Minister of Culture participates in Emirates National Schools graduation ceremony

Sheikh Salem bin Khalid Al Qassimi, Minister of Culture, recently attended the graduation ceremony of the 17th batch of 233 students from the Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah campuses of the Emirates National Schools.

The event, held at Al Jawaher Centre in Sharjah, was under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court. The ceremony was graced by members of the Board of Directors of Emirates National Schools, parents of the graduates, various officials, directors of government and local departments, staff members of Emirates National Schools, media personnel, and guests.

Ahmed Mohammed Al Hamiri, Secretary-General of the Presidential Court and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emirates National Schools, highlighted the importance President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan places on empowering future leaders through knowledge, education, and a modern educational system that incorporates artificial intelligence, digital technology, and a strong Emirati identity. He praised the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan for solidifying the school’s mission as a beacon of scientific knowledge that prepares future generations to contribute to the UAE’s cultural journey.

Sheikh Salem bin Khalid Al Qassimi also emphasized the UAE’s commitment to education from its founding by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. He noted that education remains a key pillar of development, with national frameworks and strategies involving both governmental and private institutions for ongoing development and future education.

Congratulations were extended to the graduates and their parents, with best wishes for success in their educational and future endeavors. The Minister encouraged them to continue striving for excellence and maintaining a commitment to greatness.
