Rabdan Academy’s Alumni hold first reunion to exchange experiences

ABU DHABI, 23rd January, 2023 (WAM) — The Alumni Relations Section at Rabdan Academy has organised the First Alumni Reunion in Jubail Mangrove Park in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of more than 50 Alumni from the various national entities in the country.

The reunion was attended by Major General Salem Shaheen Al Nuaimi, Director of Abu Dhabi Police Human Resources Sector; and Brigadier Othman Haji Al Khouri, Director of the Missions Department, and a number of the Academy’s senior management members, said a press release issued by the Academy on Monday.

James Morse, President of Rabdan Academy, highlighted Rabdan Academy’s pride and honour in its alumni, noting that the Academy has proven, since its inception, its excellence in graduating highly qualified professionals capable of protecting the security and prosperity of the country.

He pointed out that these meetings come as part of the Academy’s continuous endeavour to maintain positive and effective communication between the Academy and its alumni, and its constant keenness to update its academic and professional programmes for the benefit of students.

Al Nuaimi commended the role played by Rabdan Academy in supporting and strengthening the safety, security, and crisis management system in the country, highlighting Abu Dhabi Police’s pride in having Rabdan Academy’s alumni among its personnel.

Rabdan Academy’s first alumni reunion included many activities, interactive events, and friendly discussions, during which they learned about each other’s experiences after graduation and the challenges they faced in their professions. They also reviewed the inspiring success stories of selected alumni.

This first reunion comes as an introduction to a series of annual meetings that the Academy will hold for its alumni to listen to their opinions and observations and improve the Academy’s performance.
