ABU DHABI, 30th January, 2023 (WAM) — Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), today separately received Jakub Kasper SÅ‚awek, Ambassador of Poland; Bogdan Octavian Badeka, Ambassador of Romania, and Dmytro Senik, Ambassador of Ukraine.
The meetings were attended by Dr. Omar Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the FNC, and Afra Al Busti, Assistant Secretary-General for Parliamentary Communication at the FNC.
The meetings discussed ways of boosting bilateral ties, most notably the parliamentary cooperation between the FNC and the parliaments of the respective countries. They highlighted the importance of exchanging visits and parliamentary expertise.
Ghobash stressed that the FNC aims to strengthen its parliamentary relations in line with the development of related official ties, as well as promote parliamentary cooperation, exchange views and converge political stances during various parliamentary events.
He also affirmed the importance of creating further economic ties and exploring areas of partnerships and investment opportunities, especially in light of the UAE’s launch of the Projects of the 50.
