UAE Ambassador presents credentials to Tunisian President

TUNIS, 3rd February, 2023 (WAM) — Dr Iman Ahmed Al Salami presented her credentials as the UAE Ambassador to Tunisia to President Kais Saied, at a ceremony held at the Tunisian presidential palace.

During the meeting, Al Salami conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, as well as their wishes for further development and prosperity for President Saied and the people of Tunisia.

In turn, President Saied conveyed his greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and expressed his wishes for further growth and prosperity for the government and people of the UAE.

President Saied wished Al Salami success in her work to enhance ties between the two countries and highlighted his country’s readiness to provide all necessary support in her duties.
For her part, Al Salami expressed her pride at representing the UAE in Tunisia and underscored her keenness to continue enhancing bilateral relations in key fields between the two countries.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations in order to achieve the aspirations of the two countries and peoples.
