ABU DHABI, 23rd October, 2023 (WAM) — Umm Al Emarat Park announced that all proceeds from ticket sales on Friday, 20th October, the launch date of the popular Park Market, will go towards Tarahum for Gaza, a country-wide fundraising campaign to provide relief aid to the war-affected Palestinian people

Umm Al Emarat Park welcomed back a vibrant new season of the highly anticipated Park Market, running every weekend on Friday and Saturday from 20th October 2023 until 30th March 2024.

This year the Park Market will host 40 participating retailers, as it fosters a sense of community by providing a pleasant family day out, offering a wide range of local food, goods and entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

Under the title Tarahum for Gaza, which means Compassion for Gaza, the Emirates Red Crescent initiative provides multiple ways for UAE residents to make donations.

The campaign is being run in partnership with the World Food Programme, and in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Community Development.

It aims to provide aid to all vulnerable groups, especially children, with more than one million children affected by the war in the Gaza Strip.
