The MS Helpline, which can be reached at 800 677, stands as the first telephone-based support service targeting the MS community in the UAE. This innovative platform will provide crucial resources ranging from referrals to specialist clinics to mental health assessments, all tailored to the specific needs of those managing this complex and often isolating condition. The helpline operates daily from 10 AM to 10 PM, ensuring that support is available outside of conventional working hours, thereby addressing a critical gap in services for patients and caretakers alike.

As outlined by His Excellency Ahmed Taleb Al Shamsi, CEO of the Emirates Foundation and Vice Chair of NMSS, the UAE leadership’s priority is to advance healthcare for all citizens. Mansour Ahmed Al Ketbi, Deputy Chief Corporate and Human Capital Officer at Mubadala, reaffirmed their commitment to ongoing research funding over the next three years to support the helpline. He stated, “Our collaboration with NMSS and Ma’an highlights our unwavering dedication to social initiatives that drive positive community outcomes.”
