His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has unveiled an ambitious plan aimed at enhancing societal welfare through the establishment of a comprehensive social care complex in the Al Ruwaidat suburb. The foreseen social care complex, spanning an impressive 140,000 square meters, will serve as a multifaceted facility catering to diverse community needs. As articulated by Mariam Al Shamsi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Social Services Department and member of the Sharjah Executive Council, the complex will house a women’s protection centre, an elderly care home, and Al Rushd Oases—specifically designed for the treatment of individuals with mental health issues.
