UAE Ambassador presents credentials to President of Central African Republic

BANGUI, 31st January, 2023 (WAM) — Rashid Saeed Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Chad, has presented his credentials as non-resident ambassador of the UAE to the Central African Republic to HFaustin-Archange Touadera, President of Central African Republic, during a ceremony held at the presidential palace in Bangui.

During the meeting, Al Shamsi conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, as well as their wishes for further development and prosperity for the President and the people of the Central African Republic.

For his part, President Touadera conveyed his greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, and expressed his wishes for the government and people of the UAE to achieve further growth and prosperity.

President Touadera also wished Al Shamsi success in his efforts to enhance ties between the two countries and highlighted his country’s readiness to provide all possible support for him in his duties.

For his part, Al Shamsi expressed his pride at representing the UAE in the Central African Republic and his keenness to continue developing bilateral relations in key fields.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations in order to achieve the aspirations of the two countries and peoples.
