Over the past few months, Atlantic Park has ingeniously revamped its surf session offerings, introducing new categories that encompass a variety of wave settings. Among the anticipated additions to the surf lagoon are specialty turns and barrel sessions, as well as new professional sessions characterized by technical wave environments, all tailored to challenge and excite surfers.
The surf lagoon boasts an impressive capability to generate over 20 different wave types, with heights ranging from one to seven feet. The updated surf menu now categorizes sessions into three primary groups: Cruisers, catering to beginner and progressive surfers; Turns, aimed at intermediate to professional levels; and Barrels, exclusively for advanced surfers. These refinements are the result of valuable customer feedback and the performance of limited-release sessions conducted during the winter season, underscoring the venue’s commitment to adaptability and customer satisfaction.

He added that while the Beginner and Novice sessions will remain unchanged, wave settings for Progressive and Intermediate sessions have been optimized to help surfers develop their skills further. Advanced, Expert, and Pro sessions will now offer participants a choice between executing turns or riding barrels.
