EVYAPPORT Joins Portchain Connect Network
Portchain recently revealed that EVYAPPORT will be joining the Portchain Connect network. This partnership will allow EVYAPPORT to enhance the quality and efficiency of their berth alignment with customers through digital handshakes and secure data sharing. EVYAPPORT is the first Turkish container terminal to become a part of the Portchain Connect Network.
By utilizing Portchain Connect, EVYAPPORT will have access to real-time schedules and move count updates directly from carrier systems. This will enable them to quickly respond and propose alternatives to align vessel schedules with the terminal berth plan.
Kayhan Alipaşaoğlu, the Container Terminal Manager at EVYAPPORT, stated, “We are proud to be the first Turkish container terminal to join the Portchain Connect Network. We believe that our collaboration with Portchain will serve as a model for other Turkish ports.”
Thor Thorup, CCO and Co-Founder at Portchain, expressed his excitement about working with EVYAPPORT to improve efficiencies in berth alignment processes through streamlined data exchange. He also mentioned that Portchain looks forward to receiving user feedback to enhance the platform further.
